Love Potion Number 9! | Tokii Lab | Space Current Events

Posted on 16 February 2012.

You met online, fell in love, and maybe you got married, and now what? How do you keep your relationship energized, growing and fun?

Bloomberg Business Week dated February 13-19, 2012 has an article entitled Technology: The Perpetual Love Machine. We were intrigued to read that Zoosk, co-founders Shayan and Alex Mehr are exploring ways to continue to engage a couple once they have found each other on Zoosk, or any singles dating sites, as they see tremendous financial value for their company in retaining and maintaining an ongoing relationship with the newly linked couple. However, the undisputable fact is while dating sites want you to find a partner through them, they also depend on failed relationships for repeat customers. In this article both eHarmony and Match.com express a passing desire to offer some services to keep a couple engaged in a meaningful ongoing basis. But it will be difficult balancing act as even a Match.com spokesperson stated that half their clients come back at some point, and we suspect that the number is much higher. Perhaps instead of splitting their effort between two different types of revenue streams, a partnership with Tokii is in order as this is exactly what Tokii.com is all about.

We at Tokii have had the strategy of focusing on couples in a relationship since we launched in March 2011. Tokii offers an expansive array of games, quizzes, trades, moods and comparative data accumulated for the community, all for free to encourage couples to grow and strengthen their relationship. We refer to our service as a Relationship Management Platform or RMP, and we lead in this sector. The focus of our platform is to help couples improve their communications and grow their relationship whether their focus is at an emotional, physical or intimacy level.

Since today?s couples are extensively online for business, news or connecting with friends, it makes perfect sense to have them utilize this medium to enhance their connection with one another. Tokii?s goal is to get couples to use this digital space to generate interests in each other?s views, attitudes, needs, likes and dislikes, and to get them actively engaged in continuing their dialogue beyond the online bounds of Tokii. Don?t think Tokii can cross the boundaries? Play one of our games, be it about current events, personal values or something spicier! Make a trade; let your mate know your mood before you crash through that door at the end of the day!

Our members rave about how Tokii got them to ?Play, learn & love.? For most, it?s a great catalyst to rekindle the feelings they shared when they first committed to one another! For others, it?s an enhancement to an already solid relationship to which we add value by presenting a wide variety of subjects for them to chat about or new things to try. An important message we repeatedly hear is: ?I thought I knew how my partner would respond to the games? questions and I?m surprised that I was completely off-base!?

You might say: ?Why don?t they just talk?? Well, the reality is that they don?t. As the relationship ages, other priorities take over and without realizing it (often too late), the couple?s interests drift in various directions. Being a couple is hard work, but we believe that even if a couple only had 10 minutes a day for Tokii it would make a world of difference in their relationship.

Tokii presents the opportunity to fully pursue the strategy of engaging couples who have found each other that the Zoosk founders are looking at, as our entire business is built around the premise of maintaining and improving relationships. The effort we put forth with our full array of services is designed to give a couple every chance to stay happy and successful in their relationship. Consequently, our core business is our main source of revenue.? With our entire focus behind this strategy, we believe that we can and will make a significantly positive impact on couples and generate substantial revenues for Tokii.
