It's uncomfortable, but let's talk colorectal cancer

St. Petersburg, FL -- It's the third most common cancer, though it's rarely talked about. Considering it's National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, 10 News took the time to learn a bit more about the disease.?

According to the American Cancer Society, more than 102,480 cases of colon and 40,340 cases of rectal cancer are expected to occur in 2013. ?

Dr. John Koval from?Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology joined us in studio to talk about how you can prevent the disease. He said diet plays a major role in preventing the disease, and said foods high in fat can be dangerous.
