HUNDREDS of pups and their owners packed Limestone Park for the RSPCA Million Paws Walk at the weekend.
The event, held in cities across Australia, helps raise money to support more than 144,000 animals that require RSPCA shelter each year.
Thagoona resident Katie Sadler brought her dog Pink along for the walk, but admitted the two-year-old wanted to be carried for most of the distance.
?I came to support the RSPCA,? Mrs Sadler said.
?They do a lot of really great work and save a lot of animals.?
The RSPCA walk started in 1994 in Queensland by Dr Cam Day who believed a special event involving animals of all types could be a ?win-win? situation ? providing a fun day out for pets and their owners.
